Ruby had stayed alongside Tristan for longer than she had anticipated. He made good company, and for a wolf who was constantly on her own, trying to avoid her family, she admitted that conversation and closeness was something she had missed but deprived herself of. She knew she had to pull herself together before she did something she regretted, however she was inspired by Tristan's own past, and his noble nature. She wanted to make amends with her sister, Magpie. They had both surely suffered from her stubbornness. It was a little difficult to part with Tristan, but she knew she had to go on her own path, and so did Tristan. However, one more night couldn't hurt-
