Personality:

=Sociable/Talkative=

Mona feels comfortable when she is with a group of friends, talking up a storm. She forms relationships with others by speech, it's the most important way for her to get along with someone. She asks all kinds of questions and brings up some of the most interesting topics she can think of. She loves to have people listen, and loves to hear their response. She makes others comfortable and confident when they are with her, especially when she is engaged in conversation.

=Independent/Flexible=

Mona's younger years were spent mostly by herself. Her mother, Nelly,  believed that it was good to be able to be semi-left alone. After this, Mona became independent and flexible. Mona went through a lot of changes when she was in her original home pack. She learned to accept, and adapt to those changes. Because of this, she rarely fears for the future. In her brain, she can see things differently. She doesn't fear change, she just learns and adapts. It's the best she can do, and that leads to a happy day...most of the time.

=Affectionate=

Back then, when Mona was part of another pack, she had taken the job of pupsitting. At first she didn't like it because of all the noise and mess they made. However, those things changed when she started to form a bond with the pups. She saw less of what she didn't like and more of what she did. She practically became a second mother. After many years, she shares this with her new pack mates in Kausen. She is very gentle and comforting, welcoming to others. She rubs cheeks with friends, lays down with them, warming up their bodies together during cold nights.

=Mild=

it's rather hard to get Mona to fight with someone. She never fit the territorial, war settings. In fact, she didn't despise any rival pack members, she just saw them as different wolves from different places. Mona knows where her place lies in a pack, and she would never wish to upset anyone or break any rules. She's empathetic and tender-hearted, connecting with others who are having issues that Mona wants to solve, heal, and make better. Her father, Ben, used to giver a nick-name, Mild Mona. She didn't quite understand until later on.

=Quiet=

While she is talkative, she isn't obnoxious. She knows if she is not welcome or is disturbing others by watching their body language and expressions. When connecting with others, it is also important to read them. Mona knows this, so she catches on really quickly. When in a group setting, and it's appropriate to talk, she'll take her chance. In a quiet setting, when others around her are relaxing, she knows to be quiet. Being observant and gentle, Mona has found ways to communicate with different personalities.

Pre-Group history:

In a warm, crisp morning of August, Mona waddled around with her stubby paws, trying to catch up after her mother. Nelly, Mona's persistent mother, did not bother to wait for her pup until she has made a couple feet's distance. Mona is about to be introduced to the rest of the pack and her family. Her father, Ben, was a full blood wolf, but a loyal dog at heart. He always told interesting stories and described new words Mona could learn. Despite being an outsider in his own pack, he has been more than that after Mona's birth. Instead of scoping the town, he helped around the pack more often.

Mona's pack was pleased of how healthy she looked, and it didn't worry anybody else that Nelly had only produced one pup in her entire lifespan. Most of the mating seasons went to the Alpha and his mate, which meant most of newborn pups were from the Alpha. One of these was a young, three year-old Grey Wolf named Fell. Once Mona became a one-year old juvenile pup, Fell took great interest in her. Fell had become a strong adult Alpha, taking the place of his father over his other brothers. Fell also had a mate, Chika, a beautiful white wolf. However, Fell had no interest in Chika.

When the following spring had arrived, it was a shock to Chika that she had not produced Fell's pups, but Mona had. It was against their pack-law for an Alpha to mate with an low-ranking member of the pack, especially if she was just a year-old. Mona had found herself in deep trouble. Her pack became tense after the surprising event, and Chika developed an unbridled rage against her and her three newborns. Mona was too afraid to leave her pups side, in fear of what the pack might do. Only a couple of days had passed before Mona finally decided she was not welcome anymore, and went on her own, taking her pups with her.

One-year old Mona struggled against the struggles of nature, and fought for her pups lives. Unfortunately, for two of her pups, they did not have the strength to fight with her. She had named the twins, Mima, and Sam. They were quite the pair, with a similar coat of their mother's. Mona loved them dearly, and it nearly broke her heart to watch them fade away, but somehow in her brain, she knew it would have happened. With only one pup left in her care, Mona was determined to keep him alive, and find a prefect home.

Taz, Mona's last pup, was a little black puppy. Taz had bad temperament, and always argued that he could do things on his own. Mona however would always smile and encourage him. They had found a comfortable den, where Mona and Taz slept and survived in. Mona had reached her two year old mark, and she was learning lots of new things about her environment and the animals that roamed around. Mona was an excellent, and precise hunter. She was very swift and agile, able to catch fast-moving prey. Things turned out well until Mona had chased a baby fawn through dense area in the forest, and tripped, hurting her front paw.

Taz could see that his mother was struggling to feed him, and he did his best to make things better. He was six months old, during this time he hunted lemmings and birds. They were enough to sustain the both of them for a while. Mona hated to have her son do everything for her, she saw him to be too young to care for his own parent. So, she was very happy to know that her leg was feeling better, and it became less of a pain to stand on. Mona decided to surprise Taz by hunting a fresh kill and bringing it home. In the morning, when Taz was asleep, she walked quietly outside. After catching a rabbit, Mona returned to an empty den.

She searched around until she saw Taz in an open field,  black fur and brown tint next to the golden sky. Mona was confused when Taz walked away over the horizon. Mona was tempted to chase after him, but she stayed, confident he would come back. Taz never came back, and it was always a mystery that plagued her mind ever since.

She spent nearly two years by herself, hunting and learning from the forest. She missed being in a pack, and craved for someone to be able to talk to. Luck found her one evening when she noticed a pack of wolves hunting caribou down a wide, open valley of yellow grass. Mona slowly followed them until they had taken down their hunted prey. She had made an appearance then, and surprisingly they were eager to get to know about her. She found herself welcome into the Kausen pack, and she was more than happy to join.

-----

Group history: She spent a good portion of her life in the pack, Kausen, led by Gregor, the alpha. She wished she had discovered them before her son ran away. Not a day went by that she didn't think of him, but she was able to smile again and feel at home. She cared for pups and grew comfortable with her pack mates. She slowly formed a relationship with Gregor. Despite her shyness, she was able to look past Gregor's rank and realize he was just as kind and generous as any other wolf int he pack.

Her son had returned for a shirt while, only to talk about what he had discovered. She wished he stayed longer, and her heart ached as she watched him walk out of her life again. She prays to see him once again, and that he safe in Blutwald. While that day is permanently stuck in her mind, she found comfort from her friends in Kausen, who have shown great understanding and support.

Recently, Gregor had spoken with her about a decision he was prepared to make, that would change their lives. Gregor had a daughter who was the alpha of a distant pack called Chandor. He was thinking, since he was getting older and much more tired, that it was best to move in to Chandor, and step down from his place as alpha. Mona was a little sad about the idea, but since tension was rising in other packs not so far away, and that she cared immensely for Gregor's health and safety of the pack, she quickly supported his decision.

Before the pack was prepared to make the journey, Gregor and Mona decided it was the best time to make things official, and become mates. This made the trip much quicker and less stressful for the two of them. Mona was excited to see what Chandor had to offer, and hoped that Taz knew where she was going, in case he needed her.

Other:

-  Twitches an ear and scratches the ground with her front paws when she is embarrassed or nervous.

-  Didn't really like Fell, but was manipulated by his rank and power into mating with him.

- Taz had become close to a year old when he left. (black fur and green eyes come from Fell's side of the family)
